A Chashaku, or bamboo tea scoop, is a fundamental tool in the preparation of matcha. Our Bamboo Scoop is masterfully carved from a single piece of bamboo by skilled Japanese artisans, designed to measure the perfect portion of matcha powder for each serving. Its elegant curved shape and lightweight design allow for precise, graceful movements essential to the tea preparation ritual.

Usage and Care Instructions:

1. Before Use: Gently wipe with a dry cloth to remove any dust
2. During Use: Use the curved end to measure matcha powder, typically allowing 2 scoops per serving
3. After Use: Wipe clean with a dry cloth if needed - avoid using water unless absolutely necessary
4. Proper Storage: Store horizontally on a chashaku-tate (scoop rest) to maintain its shape
5. Environmental Care: Keep away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures or humidity to prevent warping
