Introducing Yoake, our light roasted hojicha from the renowned tea fields of Uji, Kyoto. This unique hojicha is crafted by lightly roasting high-quality, first-class tea leaves to create a tea that beautifully balances the fragrant roasted aroma with the natural umami of the tea leaves.

Our Yoake Hojicha is finely ground using a traditional stone mortar, which ensures a smooth and uniform powder, maximizing both aroma and flavor. This careful roasting process allows you to experience a harmonious blend of flavors that are perfect for both traditional and contemporary culinary uses. Ideal for making hojicha lattes, and it pairs wonderfully with both Japanese and Western sweets.

Brewing Guide

Hojicha Latte

  1. Whisk: Combine 4g of matcha with 50ml of water (70°C) and whisk until frothy.
  2. Mix: Add 120ml of milk and sweetener to taste. Stir well.

Hojicha Tea

  1. Whisk: Combine 2g of matcha with 60ml of water (70°C) and whisk until light and frothy.

Storage Guide
